How organisations can use Google+ to succeed

Mashable posted this great resource today about how businesses can use Google+ (alongside the enormous other swag of Google goodies like Google Docs) to benefit their business for free.

Mashable talks about the advantages of features like Circles, Hangouts, Docs and Search Functions can really benefit businesses that venture into the realm of social media as an internal tool as well as advertising and customer followup.  Mashable cleverly calls it ‘social enterprise collaboration’ which is precisely what it can be for savvy businesses, charities and churches.

Many have already dismissed Google+ as a failed venture, but it would be premature to write off the network as a social experiment gone awry. Just as Gmail was key to Google’s enterprise play, Google+ is fast becoming the enterprise social networking tool of choice for savvy office workers.
